The Nu Company, or: Probably the most sustainable chocolate in the world
A chocolate manufacturer in the headlines – something for the media to lick its lips over! Our challenge was to find a topic that would be picked up by high-circulation media such as FOCUS, Stern and Frankfurter Rundschau. In cooperation with one of Germany’s leading advertising agencies, we managed to pinpoint such a topic, and the result was to everyone’s liking.

“We need a chocolate purity law.” Spreading this somewhat controversial rallying cry, we succeeded in launching it in 50+ media outlets. “The Nu Company” appeared various media, including print, online, radio and TV. Concurrently, we mounted a poster campaign in major German cities, resulting in broad placement in local media.
BETTER RESULTS
Due to the extremely wide coverage, “The Nu Company” has gained enormous publicity in a very short time. The simultaneous communication of the financing round has also aroused the interest of financial, start-up and top media. With a total reach of 180.9 million in three months, they have asserted their unified goal of planting one billion trees by 2030, thereby forcing a significant rethink in the industry.
