BETTER CHALLENGE

Cybersecurity ceased to be a purely niche topic for experts by 2022 at the latest. What’s more, major geopolitical events such as the war in Ukraine are making IT attacks an integral part of hybrid warfare. At the same time, more and more competitors are entering the market who want to take on the industry status quo. Link11 and its management therefore had to position themselves as the leading European IT security provider for the protection of companies in the DACH region and in the UK, USA and Canada in an extremely confusing market phase.

BETTER IDEAS

In order to successfully plan how to address all relevant target media, the focus was initially on prioritizing topics. The question of where cybersecurity was most likely to be needed in 2022 led to a focus on the “Cybersecurity & Finance”, “Cybersecurity & Industry”, “Cybersecurity & Insurance” and “Cybersecurity & eCommerce” verticals, among others. In addition, the client’s own reports and corporate news were used for marketing in Tier II and top media across all regions.

BETTER RESULTS

Thanks to the consistent and proactive media approach, the Link11 brand was developed into a leading name within IT security in terms of communication. In the process, the company and management were finally able to maneuver completely out of the pure IT niche and position themselves as a dominant protection provider whose expertise extends far beyond the core cybersecurity market in Germany. At the same time, the communicative basis for successfully addressing target groups in prospering tech markets within the English-speaking world was created.
